• Own end-to-end business development for derivatives in APAC, from client origination through negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing account management to maximize trading volumes. • Drive targeted sales strategies that grow market penetration and revenue across VIP clients, crypto-native high-volume traders, and institutional accounts. • Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline in CRM with consistent tracking, timely follow-up, and transparent reporting against revenue and volume targets. • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, compliance, and operations to deliver client-centric solutions tailored for APAC markets. • Lead Coinbase's presence at client meetings, industry events, and conferences across the region as a senior market ambassador. • Shape Coinbase's competitive positioning and product roadmap by capturing and sharing market intelligence from client interactions and regional trends.
• 3+ years in derivatives sales, sales and trading, or business development at a tier-1 financial institution, cryptocurrency exchange, or fintech, with a focus on APAC markets. • Proven origination track record with existing relationships among VIP derivatives traders (crypto or traditional finance) in APAC, demonstrated by measurable revenue or volume growth in prior roles. • Deep knowledge of derivatives market structure, product types (perpetuals, options, futures), and risk management principles sufficient to consult with sophisticated trading clients. • History of independently closing complex, high-value deals and consistently exceeding revenue or volume targets. • Willingness to travel within APAC (up to approximately 30%) and English fluency (spoken and written). • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
