🎯 Requirements

•4+ years fraud prevention experience on an analytics team •2+ years fighting fraud in an e-commerce or financial services environment •2+ years of experience in data analysis, working with complex databases, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, etc.) •Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, A/B testing, causal inference, etc. •Experience in at least one programming language (preferably Python). •Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Superset) to create meaningful visualizations, tell effective stories, and drive change •Demonstrated passion for fraud investigations •Functional knowledge of common fraud patterns •Endless curiosity to seek out anomalies and get to the core of a problem •A broad understanding of card payments, chargeback lifecycles, Visa operating rules, and card fraud vectors •Experience with PayPal disputes and Purchase Protection •The ability to prioritize and make quick decisions under tight deadlines
