Description

• Coordinate design and pre-construction services • Manage collaborative design and integration • Provide necessary information for design, fabrication, and installation • Oversee day-to-day management of construction projects • Evaluate project progress and construction practices • Review and interpret proposed designs and details • Authorize issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders • Research and prepare reports • Keep management informed of project progress and issues • Facilitate monthly billing and payment applications • Coordinate with detailing, purchasing, fabrication and construction

Requirements

• Proficient Project Management skills • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management or Structural / Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural steel construction industry • Understanding of commercial construction processes • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on field experience • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Leadership abilities • Ability and self-confidence to make key decisions • Excellent time management skills • Strong negotiation skills • Proficient modeling and detailing experience with Tekla Structures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Teams • Competence in software tools like Procore, Sage, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BlueBeam • Experience with scheduling software
