📋 Description

• Design and build REST APIs using Python and FastAPI to receive, validate, and securely store user registration data • Implement backend logic for managing emails, phone numbers, beneficiaries, and other identity-related attributes • Work with relational databases (CloudSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL), ensuring proper schema design and data integrity • Integrate with third-party identity/auth providers (OAuth2, OIDC, email/SMS verification) • Define API contracts together with frontend engineers to ensure seamless data exchange • Add robust auditing, logging, and monitoring for all data operations • Deploy and operate services on GCP using Cloud Run, CloudSQL, IAM/Service Accounts, Secret Manager, and Pub/Sub • Apply strong security practices for handling PII and sensitive identity data

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI for production-grade API development • Solid understanding of relational database design and experience with CloudSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL • Experience building secure, scalable APIs that process PII following industry best practices • Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, CloudSQL, IAM, Secret Manager, Pub/Sub) • Knowledge of authentication and identity protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based deployments, and infrastructure automation • Strong English communication skills in a fully remote environment
