Description

• Leader of DuckDuckGo’s Site Reliability Engineering team • Responsible for improving processes, practices, and people • Lead hiring efforts and resolve bottlenecks • Contribute to product and infrastructure roadmaps • Co-own on-call rotation and tackle incidents

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in leadership SRE roles • 10+ years of SRE focused roles • Experience leading, scaling, and developing teams of 15+ SRE engineers • Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to diagnose instability in high-traffic, distributed systems • Advanced programming experience, preferably in Perl or Python • Deep experience with Linux and web technologies • Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management • Experience with cloud-native services and architectures
