📋 Description
• Write maintainable, high-quality code using Frostbite's visual scripting language (similar to Unreal Engine's Blueprint) to implement user interface logic and ensure seamless data integration with backend systems • Create functional UI elements within the Frostbite editor, utilizing the entity component system (similar to Unity's interface and workflow) • Work with Engineering and Project Management to review UI features, assess scope, and estimate the development of new features • Deliver high-quality assets with close attention to visual detail • Collaborate closely with other technical designers and engineers at Endava and our client’s development team
🎯 Requirements
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in game development or a closely related industry in a technically-oriented design implementation or engineering role • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms and data structures • Proven ability to debug technical issues and optimize effectively and document both the issues and resolutions • Proven ability to concisely and transparently communicate updates and resolutions to team members, customers, and stakeholders • Strong grasp of UI/UX principals and proficiency in implementing and optimizing assets to meet engine requirements • Preferred Skills: • Professional experience with Unreal (UMG, blueprint), Unity (NGUI, UGUI, visual scripting) or similar game engines and toolsets • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science-related field • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Suite
