Description
Endpoint is looking for a Senior Data Scientist who finds innovative solutions to challenging business problems facing the organization. Ideal candidate will be a problem solver that finds joy in learning, experimenting, and building solutions in a fast-moving environment. Each problem is unique, and the ability to analyze a problem, research potential solutions, and build a solution to deliver measurable impact to the business will be key to your success. By combining data mining and process analytics, you will help the company understand the performance of our processes and product, revealing bottlenecks and other areas of improvement. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will use your skills to: • Lead technical projects to identify, model and measure critical optimization/automation opportunities • Develop rigorous analyses using statistical models • Collaborate with partners to identify high-impact opportunities • Help develop tools and other reusable components • Develop and evaluate predictive models • Collaborate with key stakeholders to solve complex analytical problems • Deliver real-time insights • Present findings and solutions internally
Requirements
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field • 5+ years professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role • Comfort collaborating with software and data engineers • Proven ability to communicate clearly • Proficient in Python or R as well as advanced data analysis in SQL • Experience with quantitative analysis techniques • Experience with process mining techniques (preferred)
