Description
• The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring our software engineering quality best practices and procedures are followed. • This role is a hybrid role between Senior QA Analysts and QA Manager. • The person in the role will be the functional leader of the QA team and will also be available to do QA testing on critical projects as needed. • A primary goal of the Quality Assurance Lead will help re-establish the expectations of the QA team and ensure their skills align with our KPI’s. • This role will include improving existing automated tests and developing automated tests for other key systems.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline • 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience • Experience working with Selenium or similar automated testing tools. • Prior management experience • Experience working with agile methodologies. • Experience with Atlassian Tools • High sense of personal responsibility, a self-starter, and capable of both working independently and as part of the team • Ability to maintain composure, while providing exemplary customer service to internal clients • Ability to ask relevant questions regarding business issues to both technical and non-technical team members in a clear and concise manner. • Detail oriented, highly organized, and excellent follow-up skills. • Train and coach, the team members including goal setting and evaluations with collaboration from the Delivery Manager.
