Description

• Significant designing and coding of our market leading decision support applications. • Expertise in best practices for cloud deployment and coaching of others on your team. • Build in quality and automated testing at all stages of development and deployment. • Expert technical leadership and advice on cloud technology, supporting Sales and Product Support in customer facing engagements. • Understand and apply our architectural strategy and standards whilst solving complex integration challenges. • Adhere to the highest levels of agile development and quality practices. • Participate in the complete lifecycle of your software services from inception to L3 customer support. • Embrace a team culture of excellence and coach junior colleagues to excel in their roles.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a hands-on engineering role developing commercial software. • Expert knowledge of the Java programming language. • Expert knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and container-based architectures. • Experience developing commercial software for at least 1 public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.). • Experience working as part of a development team using agile scrum methodologies. • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience gained in a commercial environment. • Experience with front-end development would be an advantage.
