Description
• Contribute to the development of FICO Xpress Optimization • Work on application programming interfaces using modern programming languages • Develop systems that automate testing of APIs and algorithms • Ensure support for 3rd party mathematical optimization modelling languages • Collaborate with development teams and product management • Provide 3rd level support for clients and internal teams
Requirements
• MSc level degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience • Significant experience in a C software development role • Significant experience with Python and working with NumPy, Pandas, SciPy • Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, C# and C++ • Interest in learning additional programming languages • Experience with Operations Research or Mathematical Optimization preferred • Experience in developing Mathematical Optimization tools and libraries advantageous • Experience with automated software testing beneficial • Experience with cloud computing and containerization beneficial • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English • Ability to work effectively with a remote team
