Description

• Provide remote 3rd level technical support for global clients. • Provide guidance on performance tuning of FICO Xpress Solver. • Provide guidance on best practices when working with the rich range of model application programming interfaces that FICO Xpress provides. • Assist users with examples and tools to demonstrate use cases. • Work with the development teams to resolve any incidents. • Work with product management and development teams to help drive development of FICO Xpress Optimization.

Requirements

• PhD level degree in Computer Science, Operations Research or similar/related discipline or equivalent experience. • Working knowledge of Operations Research and Mathematical Programming in particular. • Significant experience with Python and working with NumPy and Pandas. • Experience with Mathematical Optimization solvers, such as FICO Xpress, Gurobi, IBM Cplex or SCIP. • Experience with Mathematical modelling software, such as Pyomo, PuLP, FICO Mosel, IBM OPL, AMPL or GAMS, is beneficial. • Experience with Java, C# and/or C/C++ is beneficial. • Experience with cloud computing and containerization (Docker) is beneficial. • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. • Ability to work effectively with a remote team.
