• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability • Monitor SAP system health, performance, and security, implementing proactive measures to prevent issues and ensure stability • Perform regular system backups, recovery operations, and disaster recovery planning to protect critical data and ensure business continuity • Optimize SAP system performance through tuning, resource allocation, and capacity planning • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and business users, to ensure SAP systems meet business requirements • Implement and maintain SAP Basis best practices, including system updates, patch management, and kernel upgrades • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Basis issues, working closely with SAP support and other technical teams to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction • Document technical specifications, system configurations, and procedures to maintain a knowledge base for future reference and training purposes • Communicate system status, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to executive leadership and stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience/knowledge • 5-8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with a strong focus on SAP systems management • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis components, including SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, and SAP HANA • Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance in both on-premises and cloud environments • Strong understanding of database management systems (Oracle, SAP HANA, SQL Server) and their integration with SAP systems • Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP Basis 7.50) or similar are highly desirable • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
