Description

• Advising, drafting and negotiating key commercial deals including cross-border media partnerships and joint ventures. • Advising on corporate matters, both in the context of M&A transactions and general operations and corporate restructuring. • Conducting legal due diligence and drafting, reviewing and advising on transaction documents for mergers and acquisitions. • Drafting, reviewing, and providing guidance on a range of contracts such as non-disclosure agreements, affiliate agreements, consultancy agreements, and other legal documentation as needed. • Directly negotiating legal terms with suppliers. • Increasing business awareness of key commercial legal risks and their mitigations. • Assisting in resolving disputes, including contract disputes and potential litigation, and working with external legal counsel if necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years PQE as a Qualified Lawyer in the UK or EU, with experience in a reputable private practice law firm. • Must be based in the United Kingdom and have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and effectively. • Willingness to mentor and develop junior members of the legal team. • Experience in the tax, gaming, marketing, or technology sectors would be advantageous but not required. A willingness to learn and curiosity about new areas are sufficient.
