Description

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements • Review and provide input on responding to RFPs • Develop, implement, and improve contracting policies and procedures • Prepare and updated form contracts • Assess legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate potential liabilities • Assist in preparation of board and committee presentations and other materials • Provide legal guidance and support on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters • Stay up-to-date with healthcare laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local laws • Other duties as assigned or requested • Travel 10-25%, including overnight travel

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • 5+ years’ legal experience, with preference for candidates with healthcare and/or state government contracting experience • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment (prior experience in a SaaS startup or similar environment preferred) • Comfort working independently and communicating with executives and senior management
