Description
• Partner with our Product, Growth, and Marketing teams to provide legal support on category development, new and existing solutions, marketing and educational materials, and digital product design • Identify privacy and regulatory issues and collaborate with Regulatory and Privacy Counsel team members to align on clear, actionable legal guidance • Review customer-facing promotional content, including advertising, website content, social media posts, and product packaging, for compliance with legal and regulatory standards • Provide practical, business-focused, solutions-oriented, clear, and concise legal guidance • Develop relationships and build trust with business partners • Stay informed on product developments, business objectives, and the ever-changing legal landscape affecting the business • Report to the Senior Product Counsel and collaborate closely with other Product Counsels
Requirements
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school • Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction • 8+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and/or in-house advising business teams on the legal aspects of their promotional and e-commerce activities, including experience with FTC laws and regulations and state consumer protection laws • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Strong business judgment and creative mindset
