• Run take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings. • Assist with tender estimates and project budgets. • Review subcontractor and supplier quotes. • Maintain estimating systems and project documentation. • Review specifications, selections, and variations. • Identify missing scope items and potential risks. • Support pre-construction coordination across projects.
• Minimum 3-5+ years of relevant experience. This is most important. • Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying. • Strong understanding of residential construction. • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings confidently. • Strong Excel skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Clear, professional English communication. • Nice-to-Have: Experience with Australian residential construction (preferably WA).
• Competitive contractor retainer: AUD $3,000–$4,000/month, commensurate with experience • Full-time equivalent (40 hours/week) with exclusivity in this industry.
