• We are looking for an experienced SBA Business Development Officer (“BDO”) to join our growing and dynamic team. • In this role, you will be responsible for generating new SBA loans nationwide. • Major Areas of Responsibility: Generate new SBA 7a loans in accordance with established goals and objectives. • Prescreen applications for appropriate structure, conformity and eligibility with SBA SOP and lenders credit risk policies. • Maintain relationships with referral sources and COI network. • Responsible for assisting clients through the SBA loan process and assisting team members with obtaining all necessary documentation needed for the transaction. • Attend industry conferences
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SBA Lending • Established referral sources and COI network to self-source deals • Strong knowledge of SBA SOP and ability to quickly understand various lenders credit policies • Strong working knowledge of financial analysis including cash flow, collateral and industry analysis. • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance • Must have the ability to work autonomously
