Description

• InDebted provides future-thinking organisations with products and solutions to support overdue consumers through debt. • Founded in Australia, today we're a team of over 300 people living and working around the world. • As the Director of Engineering you will lead a global engineering team dedicated to advancing our product strategy for Collect.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in scaling high-performance engineering teams, with a track record of leading teams of 20+ across hybrid and remote settings. • Strong strategic thinking with a bias for action and the ability to make sound decisions in complex environments. • Proficient in event-driven architecture and distributed systems, with a passion for technical excellence and continuous learning. • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining B2B products, ideally with experience in consumer-facing components as well. • Strong focus on delivering customer value while driving measurable business outcomes through efficient product engineering. • Extensive experience delivering and managing large-scale, complex initiatives across multiple markets, with the ability to spot emerging issues and preemptively implement solutions. • Successful track record of growing and scaling engineering teams (from 5 to 50+), with a focus on progression, performance management, and talent acquisition. • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and align diverse teams around shared goals, ensuring transparency and accountability in all initiatives.
