Description
• As a Contract DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor in the development of our cloud infrastructure, release pipelines, scalability, availability, and security. • This contract position will require 10 hours of engineering work a week. • The hourly rate range for this contract position is $70 - $100 CAD per hour. • The contract will start as a 3-month contract with the potential to be extended. • You thrive in building scalable, flexible systems with an emphasis on improving maintainability. • As a contractor, you will have a flexible work schedule to work closely with the rest of the engineering team and independently.
Requirements
• You have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. • You have extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • You have experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). • You have experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). • You have familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). • You have the ambition and perseverance to take on any uncertainty and challenges that arise. • You have experience working in a collaborative environment. • You are comfortable working autonomously and have the ability to effectively manage tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision, showing strong self-motivation. • You want to make a difference.
