• Responsible for leading a team of data engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and solutions • Accountable for modernizing the data engineering stack • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-documented data models that enable trusted, analysis-ready datasets • Manage a team of Data Engineers • Accountable for implementing and advancing our modern cloud data platform • Accountable for designing and implementing data models/structures within the enterprise data lakehouse • Oversee best practices for code quality, version control, performance tuning, and testing within data pipelines • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry standards • Design and create ETL/ELT data pipelines for cloud and on-prem data platforms • Ensure the architecture in place supports the requirements of analytics, reporting, and data science teams to support our business stakeholders • Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Sciences, or related field - Required • 4 years Relevant work experience as data or IS manager - Required • 5 years experience with ETL and Data Engineering Tools like Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory and etc. - Required • 7 years experience Data Engineering, SQL, Databases, system Support Experience - Required • 3 years understanding of Cloud Architectures with Azure/AWS/GCP - Preferred • Proficiency with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Highly desired • Proficiency with Databricks and Spark for large-scale data processing - Highly Desired • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data pipeline development - Highly Desired • Proficiency with modern data lakehouse architectures and hybrid data environments - Highly Desired • Proficiency with ETL/ELT design patterns, data modeling, and data quality best practices - Highly Desired • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git) and CI/CD pipelines - Highly Desired • Proficiency with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments - Highly Desired
