Description

• Responsible for setting the bar of quality and standards for analytical pipelines. • Design and implement a scalable analytical architecture that supports the entire analytics stack. • Provide guidance and support to team members in their technical development and project execution. • Implement and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability. • Build robust data pipelines based on business requirements. • Collaborate across functions to identify data analytics problems and execute solutions. • Create data modeling and presentation best practice disciplines and standards. • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics projects. • Document data architecture, models, and processes for transparency. • Conduct regular audits of analytical processes and outputs. • Evaluate, implement, and optimize analytics engineering tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline. • 10+ years of experience in a relevant analytics, business intelligence, or engineering role within dynamic, outcome-driven organizations. • Strong expertise in data modeling, ELT processes, and database technologies. • 5+ years of experience developing models and best practices in dbt. • Experienced in using business intelligence tools, such as Sigma, Mode, Tableau, and Looker to communicate insights and enable self-serve. • Adept at crafting clear data stories to drive decision-making at every level. • Best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy. • Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships across diverse teams and influence decision making with data. • Familiarity with SaaS products and understanding of product development processes, user experience, and customer behavior analysis. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple projects. • Ability to move things forward in the face of ambiguity, or with a lack of specific instruction. Able to operate effectively and keep key stakeholders informed of risks and trade-offs. • Experience working in a SaaS or other technology-driven business.
