Description
• Own the entire development process for product analytics reporting • Design and develop the analytics layer in the data warehouse • Enable and scale self-serve analytics for all team members • Work with data scientists and ML engineers to design data models • Establish governance and enforce standards around data infrastructure • Document best practices and coach/advise other data analysts, product managers, engineers • Keep the data warehouse tidy • Provide technical leadership across the company
Requirements
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • 4+ years experience in data or analytics engineering role • 1+ years experience with dbt and dbt Cloud • Strong understanding of modern ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts • Expert-level SQL skills • Experience with business intelligence solutions • Familiarity with software design principles • Strong communication skills • Self-motivated and resourceful • Deep interest in learning about evolving industry trends • Passionate about building the best version of whatever you're working on • Nice to have: experience in geospatial data management, analysis, and visualization
