📋 Description

• Support and develop OLTP databases, including schema design, normalization, and performance improvements • Optimize existing queries, indexes, stored procedures, and analyze execution plans • Maintain and improve MySQL and MS SQL operational processes (backups, restores, optimization) • Assist in migrating legacy on-premises SQL Server databases into Azure SQL or SQL Managed Instance • Implement and maintain DACPAC-based deployments using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps pipelines • Collaborate closely with NetOps and engineering teams to ensure database reliability and performance • Write scripts to automate routine maintenance and schema synchronization tasks • Identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improving performance, scalability, and security

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DB Engineer / Operations Engineer / Data Engineer • Strong experience working with MS SQL and MySQL (1+ years) • Experience working with OLTP systems: database architecture design, normalization, query tuning and performance optimization, execution plans analysis • Practical experience with DACPAC and schema deployment via Visual Studio and Azure DevOps • Basic understanding of Azure Cloud (Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, backups/restore, monitoring) • DBA-related experience for MySQL and MS SQL: indexing, backups, restores, schema updates, performance tuning • Ability to write administrative and automation scripts (PowerShell or SQL) • Strong understanding of database security, stability, and data integrity principles • Good written and verbal English communication skills • Will be a plus: Engineering-heavy Azure services (ADF, SSIS, DWH) • Read C# and PHP code • Power BI
