📋 Description

• Responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of Cognos Analytics Software • Administer Cognos environments including security, deployment, and configuration • Performance Tuning of the Cognos environment • Server configuration (architecture and design), Security hardening • Software installation and managing upgrades • Cognos specific reporting capabilities • Troubleshooting report issues • Framework design SSO integration support • Manage Cognos servers, services, patches, and upgrades • Develop, enhance, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions • Create and maintain Framework Manager models • Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues across environments • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Perform QA, testing, and production migrations following best practices • Document designs, processes, and system configurations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar • Minimum 3+ years of support work for Cognos • Experience administering Cognos environments • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in BI administrative roles • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Cognos programs (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Framework Manager, Cognos Connection) version 11.x • Experience with Oracle and MS SQL database management • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices • Experience with Windows 2019+ Server management/configuration • Ability to troubleshoot complex reporting and system issues
