Description

• Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Miracle Maker to join our commercial team as a Director, Business Development. • Responsible for driving increases in market share and product adoption via direct client interactions to support annual growth and revenue objectives. • This role demands expertise in growing business and insights into developing trends that influence the company and market. • Lead and develop the European business development team focused on research customers and GMP biomanufacturing supply customers. • Successful performance indicators include increased sales and revenue, product adoption, and project-based initiatives related to the NA market.

Requirements

• Degree in Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biochemistry or related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus. Business Degree in addition to Science degree a plus. • Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in Molecular Biology, Genomics and/or Biologic CMO sales and/or business development. • Proven track record of demonstrated success in a broad range of areas including, but not limited to business development, sales management, market knowledge and application and sales growth. • Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com. • Strong presentation skills required. • Excellent organizational, analytical, strategic, and interpersonal skills. • Travel up to 70% of the time to support sales, business development activities, conferences, customer site visits and training. • Ability to work independently in a home office.
