📋 Description
• Service, repair, and calibrate steam sterilizers, autoclaves, and small boiler systems • Equipment includes units from Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, and Primus/Spire Integrated Solutions • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs in OR and SPD environments • Troubleshoot issues across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems • Work closely with facility managers, sterile processing teams, and OR staff • Maintain detailed service logs and compliance with regulatory standards • Ensure all work meets NFPA, ASME, AAMI, and manufacturer specifications • Build strong client relationships through responsive, professional support
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of field service experience working with sterilizers/autoclaves or other medical/surgical equipment • Strong hands-on experience with: Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, and Primus (Spire Integrated Solutions) sterilizers and steam systems • Knowledge of low-voltage electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and OEM service manuals • Experience working in ASC, hospital, or sterile processing environments • Valid driver’s license and regional travel availability • Strong documentation and communication skills • Preferred (Not Required) OEM certifications from Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, or Spire/Primus
