📋 Description

• Assist the Vice President in developing the strategic direction and delivery of compliance program support for the Business. • Lead and collaborate in designing, implementing, and developing effective compliance and privacy programs for the Business. • Serve as subject matter expert and resource for compliance and privacy, including Corporate Practice of Medicine, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and Medicare/Medicaid billing, coding, and documentation requirements. • Lead and develop Compliance personnel, fostering engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Foster digital literacy across teams and champion adoption of technology and AI tools. • Act as compliance advisor and thought leader to the Business, influencing strategy and operations. • Provide routine reporting to senior management and governance on compliance program activities. • Lead and support compliance and privacy risk assessments, developing risk-based workplans. • Develop and implement corrective action plans in response to findings from audits, investigations, and monitoring activities.

🎯 Requirements

• 13+ years of professional experience • 6+ years of diversified leadership experience in planning, communication, organization, and people management • Ability to travel domestically up to 20% • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws related to healthcare, practice management, healthcare billing and coding, ambulatory surgery centers and clinical research • Experience in hospital or physician office compliance/legal roles or healthcare law firm • Master’s degree in healthcare/related field or Juris Doctor degree preferred • Certification in healthcare compliance and privacy (CHC preferred; CHCR or CHPC acceptable) is required • Must be authorized to work in the US
