Description
• Responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software applications • Collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects or issues • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify and log defects • Perform regression testing to ensure software release stability • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with the team to implement solutions • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the QA process • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 3 years' experience in testing web and mobile applications, encompassing both frontend and backend • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies • Demonstrated skill in developing and executing test plans and writing clear test cases • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript, WebDriverIO), and API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) • Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking systems • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence • Solid knowledge of SQL • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
