• We're looking for a hands-on Lead Technical Writer to own and build our technical documentation [https://docs.n8n.io/] as well as currently having one direct report + managing potential external contractors. • Own our technical documentation to accelerate the adoption of n8n by helping people autonomously get unstuck and ensuring the easiest possible user experience • Lead a small team of internal and external writers • Collect feedback from the community and analyse data to get signals on where to improve the usability of our docs • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of the documentation. • Stay up to date with best practice and trends, and implement them in our documentation • Understand company goals and strategy and use them to prioritize workflow for the docs
• Proven experience owning and writing technical content & documentation for developers, SaaS, and B2B products. • Some programming experience, ideally in a professional capacity, with Node.js and JavaScript • A product mindset: able to put yourself in users' shoes and come up with creative ways of making user journeys simpler and easier • A strong editorial eye and attention to detail • Fluent-level writing skills in English • You're curious and you love learning new stuff (super important) • You're humble, kind, and are open to feedback (super duper important)
