📋 Description

• Designing, creating, and realizing next-generation servers and embedded hardware that power Akamai's global CDN and Cloud services • Building, troubleshooting, and hands-on debug of prototype computers, motherboards, and embedded systems • Collaborating with industry partners and internal teams to design performant, efficient, and reliable computing systems • Implementing and validating embedded software and firmware functions for system bootstrapping • Working at the forefront of Akamai’s server development life cycle, from conception to manufacturing and deployment, delivering high-quality, reliable systems for both developers and customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering • 6 months of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role • Six (6) months of experience with PCB design, schematics and layout • Using lab instruments to test/debug PCB • Preparing technical documentation • Component selection • Working with databases to store components.
