📋 Description

• Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality. • Identify, document, and track defects in a test management or issue tracking system (e.g., Jira). • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and API testing to ensure system stability and reliability. • Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine testing requirements. • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger etc. • Ensure test coverage across various test levels (integration, system). • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with customers testing teams and provide recommendations for software readiness. • Work in an Agile development environment with familiarity to Agile ceremonies, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Support the adoption of test automation frameworks where applicable (e.g., Identification of automation areas).

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an Agile environment. • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. • Automation experience is preferred, familiarity with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is absolutely a plus. • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. • A willingness to get involved with peripheral departments (support, ops, professional services etc) to streamline processes and enhance quality. • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing. • ISTQB certification (Foundation Level or higher) is a plus but not required.
