Description

• OptionMetrics is a dynamic technology company providing financial information from option markets. • Seeking a skilled Database Administrator with strong MSSQL and PostgreSQL management experience. • Responsibilities include optimizing SQL, designing stored procedures, and ensuring database performance. • Remote or hybrid position available, with offices in NYC and Miami, Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience as a Database Administrator, focusing on MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases. • Strong proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning. • Expertise in designing and maintaining complex stored procedures, triggers, and views. • Experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL databases. • Understanding and practical experience with Amazon AWS services like EC2, RDS, and S3. • Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development. • Knowledge of database security principles and best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
