📋 Description

• We are looking for a skilled Lead Full Stack Developer with strong Core Java expertise to take ownership of a small but agile development team (currently three members) at a fast-growing Malta-based company operating in the iGaming and sports betting technology sector. • As the Lead Developer, you will be responsible for guiding the full software development lifecycle, designing scalable architecture, and driving the development of both front-end and back-end systems. • You will also mentor and support your team while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build innovative, high-performance platforms. • Hands-on development of full stack applications using Core Java and modern web technologies. • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA to deliver reliable and performant systems. • Establish coding standards and best practices, including code reviews and agile methodologies. • Identify and resolve technical challenges to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Oversee deployment processes and ensure application security, uptime, and responsiveness. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. • Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8+), Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. • Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js. • Solid experience in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a proactive leadership style. • Experience in or familiarity with the iGaming or sports betting industry is highly desirable.
