• At Pangea, our mission is to empower app developers globally through developer APIs and community. • We seek a professional to develop AI applications leveraging the latest advancements in generative AI. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven applications that align with strategic goals. • Design, develop, and support machine learning platforms integrating new techniques as appropriate.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, building, and supporting machine learning platforms, services, and frameworks in a real-world industry setting. • Strong knowledge and experience with large language models (LLMs) and related frameworks like LangChain and LLamaIndex. • Expertise in embeddings, vectorization, vector stores, database optimization, performance tuning, and relevant query languages. • Familiarity with embedding techniques, retrieval algorithms, agents, and data modeling for vector development graphs. • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, concurrency, multi-threading, and design patterns. • Ability to debug and employ analytical methodologies effectively. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience. • Highly self-directed and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to develop well-thought-out design proposals and conduct thorough analyses of production issues. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
