📋 Description
• The Field Service Engineer provides highly visible customer support through on-site installation and overseeing diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. • Communicate service offerings including training, support, software, laboratory services products and field upgrades. • Contribute to account profitability through efficient execution and service delivery. • Maintain assigned assets including tools, test equipment, telecommunication equipment, and assigned service parts inventory. • Proactively develop technical and soft skills to maintain and enhance PerkinElmer’s customer value proposition.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 3 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment • Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 5 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment • High School Diploma plus 7+ years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment • Ability to travel by air, vehicle, and/or other means of transportation as business requires
