📋 Description

• Provide technical solutions and support for Localization Engineering requests • Partner with project management team members on defining best translation/localization process • Continuously look for ways to improve production processes and optimize workflows • Help troubleshooting requests coming from both internal production teams and clients’ users • Support Day to Day Localization Engineering, both at Prep & Validation steps when integrated with Propio TMS and also providing SME support • Manage translation memories and term bases • Analyze websites and applications for localization • Write or edit scripts for content/data processing • Ensure compliance with both clients’ requirements and internal procedures • Keep up to date with Language Technology offerings and trends • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA required in computer science or linguistics or similar • 5-6 years experience in localization Engineering environment • Experience with scripting/Macro creation • Experience with Localization, Internationalization, Encoding etc • Fluency in English and excellent verbal communications skills • Experience with CAT tools and translation management systems • Experience with systems integrations and APIs is an advantage • Experience with content management systems • Familiarity with common text processing tools • Experience with scripting languages and regular expressions • Passion for language, linguistics, human language technology and AI • Excellent communication skills and experience working with large teams • Experience leading a Localization Engineering team is an advantage
