Description

• Prosperity Now works to build a fair and just economy free from structural inequity and racism. • The Director of Marketing and Strategy will drive the execution of Prosperity Now’s digital marketing and content strategy. • Oversee project management across the Community Impact team to ensure strategic initiatives align with marketing and organizational goals. • Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing / Community Impact and leads, and cross-functional teams to expand visibility, increase engagement, and support mission-driven outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, project management, political science, economics, public policy, business management or related fields, or equivalent years of experience. • 10 years of experience in marketing, project management, community organizations, entrepreneurship, youth employment programs, and/or social service agencies preferred; experience in affordable homeownership, entrepreneurship, CDFIs, network building, baby bonds, climate advocacy, children savings accounts, good jobs is a plus.; or a master’s and eight (8) years of which at least two years were at an Associate Director level or the equivalent • Experience facilitating in-person and virtual meetings, providing trainings, or delivering on camera technical assistance. • Ability to build and maintain systems and processes • Ability to prioritize and be flexible with competing demands to move projects forward and meet deadlines. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills (including effective facilitation and public speaking). • Demonstrable ability to develop relationships with underserved low-income communities, particularly communities of color preferred. • Familiarity with initiatives aimed at expanding economic opportunity for low-income populations preferred.
