📋 Description
• Serve as a trusted partner to internal teams on legal matters related to contract strategy, data use and privacy. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements across verticals. • Advise on compliance with U.S. and international government procurement best practices and compliance requirements. • Develop and refine internal policies, processes, and templates to improve legal operations and scalability. • Stay current on key regulatory developments in privacy, commercial, open source, and related legal areas. • Take ownership of legal matters and administrative tasks, delivering high-quality work with accountability and minimal supervision.
🎯 Requirements
• J.D. with an active bar license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing. • 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a mix of in-house or law firm experience supporting technology companies. • Strong experience negotiating complex commercial contracts, including SaaS and sales-related agreements. • Familiarity with public sector sales and government procurement requirements. • Practical, business-savvy mindset with a focus on enabling the business while managing legal risk. • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and offer creative, solution-oriented advice.
