📋 Description

• Reddit is a community of communities focused on shared interests and authentic conversations. • In this role, you will own the Ads engineering strategy for Ads Targeting products. • You will charter ML backed features to target highly qualified users and content. • Work closely with EMs, Product owners, and Data Scientists to set up product strategy. • Optimize existing targeting products and provide new targeting products for advertisers. • Requires rich user, content & advertiser models to match users with campaigns. • The ideal candidate is an industry leader in ML recommendation and optimization. • Accountable for executing the team’s roadmap and maintaining quality delivery. • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and professional development of team members.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ year of supporting and growing ML engineering team - ideally hiring and scaling a team over 100% growth • Proven track record of building and shipping large Scale E2E ML Based Products • Experience in one of the following areas • Machine Learning, NLP, Ranking, Search engine, Recommender system, Knowledge Graph. • Experience managing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development • Experience building 0->1 Products and Scaling Existing Product lines • You're technical enough to solve almost any problem your team has yourself, but you prefer to guide your team into solving them • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with data driven/informed decision making
