📋 Description

• Octopus by RTG is on a mission of connecting top notch ogranizations around the globe with top notch talents. • We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of code, maintaining scalable infrastructure, and supporting continuous delivery practices. • You’ll work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to improve reliability, performance, and automation across our systems. • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to build scalable and resilient infrastructure. • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using various tools and technologies. • Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments. • Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripts and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). • Implement and support containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Ensure systems are secure and up-to-date with latest patches and best practices. • Troubleshoot issues across the stack: hardware, software, application, and network.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role. • Experience with version control tools such as Git. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell). • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
