📋 Description
• This role is part of our Central Finance Team at saas.group. • You will report to our Director of Accounting and Tax and be responsible for all aspects of operational accounting for several entities. • This position offers a unique opportunity to take your accounting career to the next level by becoming part of a fast-growing software startup with opportunities to grow your profile in areas such as consolidation and group accounting, international GAAP and merger & acquisitions.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or similar qualification and at least 5 years experience as an accountant • Prior work experience at a SaaS or Software company • Experience with Billing or Revenue Recognition tool (Stripe, Chargebee) • Experience with all-round accounting (AR, AP, Payroll, GL, tax, audit) • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS • Experience in supporting annual audits • Skills in any cloud accounting tool • A good knowledge of HGB and German tax laws would be an advantage • Independent, structured, solution-oriented and analytical way of working • Great time management skills and strong ability to stay organized and deliver closer to financial deadlines • Strong English skills, German is a plus
