• Direct and ensure proper administration of all components of total compensation, including but not limited to employee benefits, salaries and bonus programs, and long and short-term incentive programs, fringe benefits, and reward and recognition at all levels. • Partner with the AVP, Total Rewards in the strategic design, development, and implementation of Total Rewards programs. • Align with the AVP, Total Rewards in budgeting and facilitation of mid- and end-year salary increases, promotions, bonus programs, and the Long-term Incentive Plan (LTIP). Continually evaluate and propose actions to ensure pay equity and transparency. • Identify and resolve issues related to compensation, payroll and benefit programs and implement process improvements and efficiencies. • Partner with the People Systems Manager to enhance and ensure accuracy and consistency of compensation and benefit information between all company systems. • Assess current systems and vendors used in compensation and benefits administration, adjusting where necessary and recommending changes, if needed, for continuous improvement. • Ensure the effective communication of Total Rewards programs, particularly group benefits and wellness programs. • Align with Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners to ensure the right processes are in place to attract, retain, and reward talent. • Direct Compensation and Benefits team member(s) to achieve accuracy, efficiency and quality service delivery on a consistent basis. • Use strong project management skills to oversee all aspects of benefits renewals, vendor changes, wellness programs/events. Coordinate and lead roll out of annual open enrollment to include communications, documentation, events and resources. • Partner with the Manager of Payroll to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with legal requirements. • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations (ERISA, EEOC, etc.), ensuring timeliness and accuracy for all required reporting, filing and notifications (EEO-1, 1095-C, 5500, NDT, etc.). • Act as a subject-matter expert on all benefit & compensation matters. • Manage the job description process from creation to biennial update, ensuring compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required. • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Human Resources is preferred. • 15 years of experience in compensation and benefits, 5 of which must be in a leadership/supervisory role, is required. • Payroll and systems experience (especially UKG) is highly preferred. • Extensive background in compensation, benefits, and payroll compliance is highly preferred. • Strong project management skills. • HRIS systems experience. Set-up and implementation experience highly desired. • Strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment. • Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize projects. • Strong communication skills. • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation highly preferred.
