Description

• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture. • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality. • Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to the engineering team. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity, efficiency, and software quality. • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into actionable plans. • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role. • Strong proficiency in Scala with Spark, Airflow, Hive, Presto, and Redis, as well as deep expertise in NoSQL databases (preferably Clickhouse, Cassandra / Scylla) as well as SQL databases (preferably Postgres). Deep experience with modern software development practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps). • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions. • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices is highly desirable.
