Description

• Define and develop Setpoint’s security standards and playbook • Analyze IT security policies, recommend new practices, and oversee program, including SSO, access controls, document storage and retention, etc. • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with Setpoint's business objectives • Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce risks and enhance the overall security posture • Work closely with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business • Communicate security policies, procedures, and best practices to all employees and stakeholders • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies • Evaluate and implement new security technologies and solutions to enhance Setpoint's security capabilities

Requirements

• 7+ years of security engineering and SecOps experience in a fast paced startup or fintech company • Deep understanding of security principles, threat landscape, and security technologies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Experience with setting up and maintaining security frameworks and standards such as SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc. • Deep personal motivation to be at the forefront of technology security
