Description

• Building, training, and mentoring a commercial legal team. • Collaborating with go-to-market, product, and business operations teams. • Negotiating, drafting, managing, advising, and acting as the escalation point on commercial transactions. • Working with business and legal colleagues to streamline contracting. • Recommending, retaining, and supervising outside counsel as needed. • Maintaining familiarity with applicable regulatory, compliance and business rules and regulations. • Prioritizing tasks to get deals done. • Managing the legal function related to risk management and insurance for the commercial organization.

Requirements

• JD and licensed or eligible to practice law in your state of residence. • 15+ years of experience in buy side technology and sell side agreements. • Record of building, managing, and mentoring a team. • Experience with streamlining processes. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. • Responsive, pro-active, business-minded, team-oriented, and pragmatic. • Superior leadership, negotiating, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
