• Backend engineer for cloud camera service "Sorakame" • Developing and operating video distribution system for Sorakame • Required expertise: cloud service, high-availability systems, large-scale systems • Developing new features quickly while incorporating customer feedback • Knowledge required for efficient and automated testing, operation, and monitoring • Incorporating customer feedback in product development • Providing technical support to customers • Working closely with sales, marketing, and other departments • Contributing to event and sales strategy planning • Active information dissemination through external media • Contributing to branding and hiring efforts • Support for external activities such as open source contributions • Communication with international team members in English • Opportunity to improve English skills with support for English language training
Requirements
• 3+ years of development experience in at least 2 programming languages • Knowledge of cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloudflare • Development experience using Java, Go, and Python for web systems • Experience with CI/CD using Docker and GitHub Action • API design using GraphQL and REST • Understanding of serverless development using AWS Lambda and Cloudflare workers • Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect • Familiarity with video streaming technologies such as HLS and MPEG-DASH • Understanding of communication technologies such as WebRTC and QUIC • Knowledge of video distribution software such as FFmpeg and GStreamer • Understanding of video formats such as H264/H265 and VP8/VP9 • Basic knowledge of Linux.
