🎯 Requirements

β€’ 10+ years of experience as Android developer, familiar with older Android technologies β€’ Senior expertise with both Android native and responsive application development β€’ Proficiency in Jetpack Compose, Kotlin and Java and common frameworks and technologies including RESTful API's β€’ Live fire coding experience β€’ Room/SQLite demonstrable experience especially in edge/no connectivity scenarios β€’ Experience with Multi-threading and Asynchronous programming; Broadcast Receivers + RxJava + Coroutines + Flow experience β€’ NFC knowledge (demonstrate Bluetooth API or similar as well) β€’ Experience uploading apps to the Google Play Store, and ability to share Apps in Play Store with the interview team to verify downloads/star rating β€’ Experience with integrating 3rd party SDK's β€’ Experience with using analytics and crash reporting tools to monitor the stability of the application in production β€’ Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Robolectric β€’ Experience integrating responsive web pages into an Android app β€’ Basic working understanding of Java, Azure and Kubernetes β€’ Experience participating in code reviews, pair programming, and design meetings β€’ Ability to ensure a smooth UX, low memory footprint, and battery efficiency β€’ Experience with performance - profiling, identifying, and implementing optimization strategies β€’ Deep understanding of memory management, multi-threaded programming, and synchronization β€’ Experience designing and implementing localization functionality across multiple platforms β€’ Thorough background in mobile device testing for both Android and iOS devices β€’ Experience working hands on with mobile devices to ensure products and applications are working as expected β€’ Development experience creating powerful and concise APIs and broad knowledge of layered software architecture β€’ Experience with backend architectures, understand how UI script works with data tables β€’ Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design with keen eye to best practices and design patterns
