Description
• Evaluate the needs of clients • Conduct screening assessments and risk assessments • Provide crisis counselling/interventions over the phone and video • Identify the presenting problem and determine appropriate service response level • Meet key objectives around call volume and quality
Requirements
• Hold a recognized qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy at Level 5 or higher • Minimum of 100 accrued counselling hours • Individual membership and registration with a professional association • Strong computer skills • Ability to work at a fast paced environment • Strong empathy and listening skills • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, holidays etc. • Experience working with a variety of clients reflecting a wide range of clinical presentations • Strong risk assessment skills • Good clinical judgement regarding confidentiality
