Description
• Developing product messaging that differentiates new products and services from others in the market • Maintaining and managing competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead research • Building our brand through thought leadership, PR, and other content • Determining how to talk about our products and capabilities in the context of different market segments and against the competition • Communicating the value of products and services via sales enablement materials • Assisting sales on calls when appropriate to position and promote the story of our products • Developing and implementing promotional activities such as promotions and product launches • Use market research data to help determine and optimize product pricing, making it modular and scalable while constantly testing • Driving packaging and pricing bundles into engineering • Creating product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts • Gaining insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas • Managing marketing budget and approval processes • Turning product and platform details into concise positioning & messaging • Jumping in and doing some demand gen here, some content things there, and helping build our marketing function.
Requirements
• Intellectual horsepower - The ability to ramp fast and can't struggle with ambiguity. • Writing skills - Must raise the bar for messaging and positioning for the product & company. • Genuine interest in solving business problems - Must enjoy problem-solving and wearing many hats. • Willing to jump in and do some demand gen here, some content things there, and help build our marketing function. • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills • Creative thinker with a vision • Attention to detail
