Description

• A well-established and growing international law firm is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to support our growing team. • Sterlington was founded by a senior partner from a large NY-based law firm. We are headquartered in New York, though candidates work remotely. Our clients include private equity and other investment funds, multi-billion-dollar family offices, public and private companies, investment banks, high-net worth individuals, and startups. • We are seeking a dynamic person with a passion for entrepreneurship and sophisticated work. Join our cutting-edge, tech-savvy law firm and immerse yourself in a forward-thinking environment that encourages innovation. • This is a standalone role working within our marketing team where the Manager will build and develop the internal communications infrastructure across the Firm. The Manager will ensure that, as we continue to grow, our culture reflects the Firm’s identity and that our remote, international teams feel connected as we collaborate towards achieving firmwide objectives. Working closely with HR and Operations teams, the Internal Communications Manager will embed and communicate the Firm's people strategy and business change projects, this will include selecting and rolling out an effective platform and repository for internal communications.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience of leading strategic internal communications projects – desirable if these projects were run multi-jurisdictional. • c.4+ years’ experience working within an internal communications role with some of this experience gained at Manager level • Preference to candidates who have gained comms experience working for a US based company or an international company with a US entity. • Vendor analysis, selection, and implementation experience around internal communications / intranet platforms. • Exceptional written, oral, and presentational skills in English. Persuasive and inspiring in their communications style and effectively influences stakeholders at various levels within the Firm. • Working knowledge of professional services (partnerships) environment would be advantageous, given our organizational structure, however it is more important that the candidate demonstrates their ability to work across different countries, noting cultural and communications nuances. • Highly adept at prioritizing a busy workload with multiple stakeholders. • Comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced, international business.
